It's here - Jaylec Rotating Electrical catalogue released

 

With a reputation gained over 30 years servicing the automotive industry, CoolDrive has long been known for producing the industry leading A/C catalogue.

The release of the Jaylec Starter and Alternator catalogue in October this year has prompted the question - is this the best rotating electrical catalogue ever?

The catalogue has been the result of over a years work by the product and graphic design teams at CoolDrive, headed by Adrian Crump, Product Manager - Rotating Electrical. "There are any number of catalogues in the market, and most of them have elements they do very well," said Adrian. "Our goal was to produce the first alternator and starter catalogue that did everything well."

"One of the reasons we had to be patient in getting this catalogue into the market was our desire to have the industry leading reference for rotating electrical products. We've had the benchmark catalogue in A/C for many years now, and we think we've now got it for alternators and starters as well."

The catalogue runs to about 500 pages, with over 2000 images, all of them taken especially for the new catalogue in full colour. Pages are colour coded for easy identification of parts, and the catalogue also contains a comprehensive application guide.

"We've added the most extensive cross reference guide going, said Adrian. "We've taken OE numbers, manufacturers numbers and other industry numbers and cross referenced them to the Jaylec part number, resulting in over 60 pages off cross reference applications. If you have any numbers of the old part, you'll be likely to find them in the new Jaylec Catalogue"
