Burning rubber at CoolDrive

 

Hot on the heals of the hot lap in Perth with the Jack Daniel's team for one lucky customer, we sent another few CoolDrive customers and employees for the ride of their lives on two track days recently.

In Brisbane, CoolDrive employee Alan Counsel and customers Brody and Warren had hot laps in the Jaylec sponsored Porsche piloted by Peter Fountas (Buzza truck Electrics), and at Phillip Island, Scott Rowe from CoolDrive Melbourne and Doug Montgomery from CoolDrive Adelaide held on for their lives as V8 driver Rick Kelly threw his specially prepared Commodore around the track.

By all accounts, we had a few very thrilled passengers, and a bit more appreciation for how fast and how much work driving a competitive race car really is. If only we could work out how to fit a second seat into Tim Blanchard's series-leading Formula Ford!
